World's leading premium automobile manufacturer relies on eggs unimedia

eggs unimedia wins budget for the further development of an AEM project

In a multi-stage award process, eggs unimedia was awarded the contract for the further development of selected BMW Group websites based on Adobe Experience Manager (AEM). These include the corporate website, the websites of the BMW Group Werke, BMW Welt, the global career portal and BMW Driving Experience.

The contract includes the development of new functionalities, further development and consolidation of templates and components to improve content maintenance, adaptation to new browser versions, adaptations to GDPR and WCAG 2.0 requirements, implementation of analytics requirements, maintenance of the existing application, support and training. The future cooperation model is to take place by means of Scrum.

After eggs unimedia as technical partner of the agency Interone accompanies the project since 2 years, this new order fits perfectly into the portfolio of eggs unimedia. "Being allowed to work for the BMW Group is both an honour and a responsibility for us as a Munich-based company," says Michael Deiß, Managing Director of eggs unimedia.

At eggs unimedia, Senior Consultant Alexander Lotz will lead the cross-location development team as Tech Lead. Looking forward to future cooperation, he says: "The BMW Group is in good hands with us. We have already proven in numerous projects that we play in the Champions League in the field of AEM development. We have the resources, processes and know-how to optimally support the BMW Group in the coming years". Other roles that eggs unimedia will play in this project include an AEM Architect, a team of AEM Developers, QA Engineers, a Scrum Master and a Proxy Product Owner.

eggs unimedia is still on expansion course and currently has several vacancies in AEM development to fill.
